The custom Steamboat Powdercats OG60 phone safety tether gives guides a secure way to connect their phones to their bodies while moving through demanding mountain terrain. The co-branded design was a hit with the team and created a practical retail product for guests who want the same peace of mind.
One tether. Two seasons.
The partnership reached well beyond winter. Many members of the Powdercats team spend their off-season on rivers, where keeping a phone secure matters just as much. From design and production in Australia to delivery in Colorado, the entire custom program was simple and seamless.
“We were connected to Aaron and his team at Actionsports Anchor in the winter of 2026 and collaborated with them to create custom, co-branded tethers for our guides to use and for us to sell to our guests at Steamboat Powdercats. Even though we are on opposite sides of the globe, the entire design, order, production and delivery process was super simple. The co-branded logo on the tether was a hit with our team, as they now had a secure way to connect their phones to their bodies. Annually, we have a few phones disappear from pockets while running our snowcat skiing tours, so these tethers are the best option that we have found to secure them to your body. Many of us at Powdercats also spend a ton of time on rivers in the off-season, and the tethers are equally important to us in the summer as in the winter.”
